Come learn about NatureLynx, Alberta’s newest nature app!

In this indoor/outdoor workshop, get acquainted with the app and explore the possibilities for use in your Grade 6-12 classrooms. Supported by the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute, NatureLynx has been designed to develop a crowd-sourced, biodiversity dataset to help monitor Alberta’s living resources while creating equal opportunities to discover and learn.

Upload your sightings to the Newsfeed, learn about common Alberta species, build your own groups and missions, and more! Equip your students with NatureLynx and #capturecuriosity.

NatureLynx is available for free on Google Play and the App Store. Participants are invited to download the app and set up their accounts in advance of the workshop.
